In October, students from Germany hosted exchange students from the Czech Republic and together they went on several excursions outside the school.

There were excursions in which only the Czech students took part, but there were also some where students from both countries were allowed to participate. All of the excursions were in some way connected to the theme of sustainable architecture.

For example, on Wednesday we all went together to the Brandenburg Gate, the Holocaust Memorial and the government district and learnt interesting and sometimes new things about German history. Afterwards we visited the Futurium and had a lot of fun learning different things about our future and later life.

Our last joint excursion was to the Jewish Museum Berlin on Thursday. There, the Czech students, like the German students, learnt a lot of new things and gained a great insight into German history and Judaism.

During the week, most of the students met again on their own without their teachers.
