Social commitment is very important to us. Pupils from year 9 onwards can also volunteer outside of school: with younger children, older people and those in need. We have established partnerships with two primary schools, two retirement homes and the soup kitchen at Bundesplatz. We usually go there once a week.

We also co-operate with the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf volunteer initiative, Junges Engagement, which issues certificates from the district and in some cases the state based on a certain number of hours: JugendKompetenzPass for 20 hours, SchülerFreiwilligenPass for 40 hours and the Berliner FreiwilligenPass for 80 hours, which must be completed within one calendar year.
