On the 19th of March, the German LK and the Leseprofis, accompanied by Fr. Dr. Specht and Fr. Dr. Preuß, went to the Leipzig Book Fair. On the way there, we could hardly find seats as many people wanted to travel to the book fair that day. We decided to buy first-class tickets next time.
The discomfort was forgotten when we arrived: after a group photo (shown above), we were allowed to break away from the group and wander through halls of our own choosing.

We took photos with cosplayers, bought artisan Japanese bowls, ate from all the food stands and, of course, looked for books to buy and read.

As a group, we went to a reading where three debut authors presented their books. Afterwards, we were able to talk to the authors ourselves.
On the way back, there were plenty of seats and we traveled back to Berlin in peace.
