The two-week internship is central of the career developement in year 9. In the 2024-25 school year, it will take place in the following period

The students choose their internship independently and document their experience afterwards in a written report. To make the application process easier for them, they take part in several workshops that take place on two days in autumn and are run by teamers from the educational institution Forum Berufsbildung. Right at the beginning of the school year, each class visits the Berufsinformationszentrum (BIZ) (Careers Information Centre). Additionally, students learn how to write formal letters such as CVs and letters of application.
Later in the school year, the 9th year informs the 8th year about their experience.
