Biology is the science of life, with all its diversity. At Schiller, we aim to equip our pupils to understand the wide range of biological phenomena at different levels - from realising how organisms cope in very different ecosystems in a changing world through to understanding the molecular mechanisms of mRNA vaccines.  The Biology teachers try to keep abreast of current developments in the life sciences by taking part in regular training seminars. We pride ourselves on giving our pupils the requisite skills to gain an insight into the complex interactions so characteristic of Biology.

Experiments, excursions and field trips are seen as wonderful opportunities in making the lessons challenging and for the pupils to experience Biology in action.
