National Foreign Language Competition 2026
Success in the National Foreign Language Competition (French)

From the script to the final audio play or video: students from the 10th grade elective French course and a group of students from the 9G, learning French as their first foreign language submitted three creative contributions for the Bundeswettbewerb Fremdsprachen (National Foreign Languages Competition). Ella, Diletta, Ashley, Maisha, and Amalia (10E1,10EU2,10G) reached second place with their reenactment of the Louvre break-in and won a theater workshop for the students of their elective course.

Amelia, Noemie and Ariane from the 10EU2 as well as Maya from the Q2 French elective course took part in the SOLO competition, in which Ariana achieved third place at state level.
On May 19th the award ceremony took place at Max-Taut Schule, with all participating classes present. It was very exciting to see the best videos and theatre performances in different languages!
Anyone passionate about foreign languages and interested in joining next year can still sign up with Madame Wagner until October 6th 2026. She will be happy to answer any questions about registration and creating competition entries.
