French university Sciences Po introduces itself (study in English possible as well)

Mr. Kessler (a former Sciences Po student) gave students in the advanced French courses Q2 and Q4 a short presentation introducing one of Europe’s best-known universities – Sciences Po (Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris).

Sciences Po is a renowned French university specialising in the social and political sciences. Students study subjects such as political science, economics, law, history, sociology and international relations. The university is highly international: a large proportion of its students come from abroad, and many programmes are offered entirely in English.

One particular advantage of Sciences Po is its multi-campus system. In addition to the main campus in Paris, the university has several regional campuses across France. Each campus has a specific geographical focus, for example Europe, Asia, or North and South America. This allows international students to study in different French cities while gaining a global academic perspective.

For Schiller students who are interested in international politics, economics or society, Sciences Po offers an excellent opportunity to study in France while completing an international degree programme in French or entirely in English. The combination of academic excellence, a strong international orientation and a compulsory year abroad makes the university one of the most attractive study options in Europe. Tuition fees are based on the income of the students’ parents.

We would like to sincerely thank Mr. Kessler for his presentation and would be very happy to welcome him again next year.
